What I’m doing while working at home.

While working at home, I have access to my computer and all my files on our servers, so I’m taking the time to do some experimentation with a software called Gigapixel, which uses artificial intelligence to rework images.
My goal is to take many of our scans from over the years of our documents and make sharper, larger digital copies.
Some of our scans of images from the Cammie G. Henry Collection are 25 years old, and while the quality is there still, this advance really makes a difference to my eye. Below you can see an example of a portion of an image from the 1927 flood.

Only about 45,000 more images to go!
