                                                                                            More Pookie and Buddy

Pookie, born in Hong Kong,  moved to Tokyo, and on to Soho in Manhattan.  She recently retired from her world travels, and is now living in Natchitoches.  We talked to her through a translator, (the cook at Chef Wok) but when questioned closely about the differences in locale, She said, "There's less noise in Natchitoches, and it seems more conducive to napping."

Buddy, born a hunter in Tokyo,  has great expectations.  He offered, "I was looking out the window, and they have squirrels,  birds, and I even spotted a possum running across the yard.  I think I'm gonna like it here, if I can train that big oaf of a Labrador Retriever that lives here to do my bidding."
