Ok, so it was the 4th of July, and I had tried to capture THE Picture of the Week for the celebration. The band conductor's hand was in his face in the best shot; the fireworks looked, well, like fireworks. Crowd reaction was underexposed. Hmmm. After the fireworks, I sat with these two pals and chatted about cameras. I was showing them how quietly my M6 operates, and got this intriguing double portrait, which proves that sometimes, people listen when I talk about Leicas. The top of my CL can be seen in the foreground.
